On behalf of the entire CloseToTorah family, we would like to wish a hearty Mazel Tov to Yehuda Goldman upon his engagement to Basya Durden from Detroit!

We wish them only the best as they embark on this exciting new journey together! We have come to love and appreciate Yehuda for his quick wit and most relevant observations that have inspired us to reach out and care for others. We are sure that the Kallah indeed must be a very special young lady to appreciate and join Yehuda in his quest to build a beautiful home where Hashem will dwell and happiness will reign supreme. Mazel Tov!

You are welcome to post your good wishes below!

We have just created a new RSS feed for our daily question series. It seems as though the daily question in email or RSS feed was getting overwhelming. Now the questions are no longer in the email subscription or in the feed. You may subscribe manually or view the separate feed if you want. The link is http://feeds.closetotorah.com/CloseToTorahTheDailyQuestion enjoy! Our main feeds are still at http://feeds.closetotorah.com/CloseToTorah.

We added a Guest Book to the site. Please post your general comments or concerns there. Pages (anything that has a link from the top bar) are not open for comments so this page is in place of that. I also redid the “Audio Shiurim” page, to make it easier to use and view. We would appreciate shiurim / shmoozim you may have that are not available to the world that you think people would enjoy.

Boruch Hashem R’Yosef Tropper has been writing his “Daily Questions” everyday. They are found on the top right box of the site. The answer to the previous day’s questions will be posted in the next day’s question. Post your suggestions to the question in the comments below.

With Hashem’s constant aid we have increased our traffic to several hundreds of views a day. We are hoping to establish a more constant flow of content that will keep you coming. A schedule will be posted soon so that you know when to check back and stay Close To Torah!

Remember that you don’t have to go to the site to see the newest posts you can subscribe to our feeds or our email list (on the top of the sidebar).

We hope to see you again soon and hear from you, as the Mishnah points out how virtuous is one who not only listens but also expresses his own input to further bring out the ideas of Torah being presented.

I had pushed it off, but I decided to officially change our domain name. Davek B’Mitzvah.com was a little too hard for some people to remember and spell. We are now called “Close To Torah.Com”. Don’t worry Davek B’Mitzvah.com is still redirecting to CloseToTorah.Com, but this will now be the primary domain name!
