The sole purpose of our life is Kiddush Hashem1i. This understanding is reflected on the attitude that we are commanded to live our lives as Ovday Hashemii. The only way to achieve Kiddush Hashem is in accordance with the servitude of the carrying out of Mitzvosiii. The Almighty gave Moshe Rabbaynuiv the Torah with an immutable tradition from… Continue reading

In order to truly compel a reader or audience the flow of information must be precisely presented so it is fully understood. The words used as well as the lack of and presence of details can change the connotation and tone of the information. In present times in western civilizations the layman lacks the ability to appreciate any sort of composition of detail. The vernacular of these persons lacks precision… Continue reading

We say everyday in our tefillos:
Since this is at the end of davenning it somehow gets caught being between Ashrai and Aleinu not given the proper attention… Continue reading

If you were to walk into a room and see a desk before you, what would you think? Probably nothing. If someone next to you remarked that this desk was a one of a kind hand crafted desk that was made for President George Washington and is worth a considerable fortune, there is no doubt that it would interest you more than a normal desk. If I asked you what… Continue reading

The Sages teach us that one must absolve his agenda in place of the Almighty’s. His acceptance of the yolk of the Torah stands adjacent to making its teachings innate. The veneer of a person is his physical realm as opposed to the true person who is submerged deeply below the surface. At the center of this depth lies a person’s true existence which is not of… Continue reading

Continue reading

Says the pasuk in Tehillim “lev tahor bru li alokim v’ruach nachon b’kirbi” ((Tehilim, 51, 12)) which comfortably translates as “Create a pure heart Hashem and spirit as new amongst me”. The point that needs emphasis is that Dovid HaMelech is asking Hashem not to simply change his heart but to create a new one that is tahor. This needs explanation which must first include mention of another topic pertaining… Continue reading

The foundations of our emunah are based on the concept that all has been started for a purpose above our understanding. It’s start among all things in the World is complex and difficult, as the Chazal teach us, “kol haschalos kashos” meaning all beginnings are difficult… Continue reading

“Kayin spoke with his brother Hevel. And it happened when they were in the field and Kayin rose up against his brother Hevel and killed him (4:8).”
The verse never states what exactly Kayin said to Hevel? The Ibn Ezra informs us of… Continue reading
