The At Bash of אשה (woman) is צבת (tzavas). This word has two meanings.
1- Companion. The way to view ones wife is to see her as one’s best friend!
2- Tongs. Chazal (Avos 5:6) tell us the Hashem gave Adam the first pair of tongs. This is because in order to make other tongs, you need a pair of tongs to hold the metal over the open fire. What is the depth here? Rav Eliyahu Dessler zt”l explains that this hints to the fact that in order to build someone else, you must be an example yourself. Only a tong can make another tong. This is the perspective of successful parents, to be a living example of what they wish their children to be!
